Rachael Moraa Onyancha

Rachael is a gender and development specialist with over five years of experience in academia, gender mainstreaming, and community engagement. She currently serves as a Tutorial Fellow at Egerton University and a Part-Time Lecturer at The Co-operative University of Kenya. Her work spans curriculum development, student mentorship, gender advocacy, and research dissemination. Rachael holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies and is pursuing a PhD in the same field. Her scholarly contributions include publications on women’s political participation and gender inclusion in cooperative societies. She brings to the TGEK Board a strong background in research, policy analysis, and gender-responsive programming, anchored in a commitment to social transformation and equity.
