Dr. Oscar Omondi Donde (Ph.D.)

Dr. Oscar Omondi Donde (Ph.D.) is an accomplished environmental scientist and Lecturer at Egerton University, Kenya, with over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and project leadership. he currently serves as the Head of Environmental Science department of Egerton University. His expertise spans aquatic ecology, environmental microbiology, eco-health and sustainable aquaponic production systems. He has led numerous international and national research projects on lake ecosystem health, aquaponics, climate resilience and fish, water and air quality monitoring and improvement. Dr. Donde is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Pan Africa Science Journal and serves on the Crossref Board, where he contributes to advancing scholarly communications. His work emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and impactful solutions to Africa’s environmental and food security challenges.
